Sonance Caskets are collectible items that are hidden and scattered throughout Solaris-3 in Wuthering Waves. These Sonance Caskets can be traded-in for Astrites, as well as other rewards!

How to Locate Sonance Caskets
Check Your Minimap
The easiest way to locate Sonance Caskets is by keeping an eye on your mini-map. You will occasionally spot a square or “chest-shaped” icon on the mini-map that represents Sonance Caskets.
Once they appear on your mini-map, check if there's an arrow above or below the icon. An arrow above the icon means that the casket is located at a higher elevation relative to you. An arrow below the icon means that the casket is found on a lower elevation relative to your position.
These Sonance Casket icons disappear as soon as you pick up the Sonance Casket. So if you see them on your mini-map, this means there is a Sonance Casket nearby that you haven't already picked up.

Around Jinzhou City
This Sonance Casket is located on top of the building that houses the Synthesizer. Head towards the northwestern point of Jinzhou City and look for a large building with a yellow-colored entrance. Once you locate the building, climb the tower on the left to find the Sonance Casket.
To locate this Sonance Casket, you will first need to increase your maximum stamina. So make sure to level up your Data Bank before attempting to collect this Sonance Casket.
Located above the Resonance Nexus in Jinzhou city is another Sonance Casket. To acquire it, you will first need to scale The Grand Library building. Head to either side of the building and climb up onto its roof to get enough height for oncoming flight.
Once you've reached the roof, begin your glide and use the grappling hook as often as you can to keep your altitude as high as possible!
Found on the eastern side of Jinzhou, this Sonance Casket is found above the stage where Lingyang performs his Lion Dance during his character quest. To reach this location, take the main stars leading down from The Great Library, and hop over the railings on the right side to locate the stage.
From there, it's only a matter of climbing up the stage and collecting the Sonance Casket from the middle of the circle-shaped arch on the stage's roof.
This Sonance Casket is hidden under the large bridge that connects The Grand Library to the rest of Jinzhou. Head towards the side of the bridge opposite the library, and jump off either side.
Immediately open the glider and make your way beneath the bridge to locate this Sonance Casket positioned in between the bridge's supports.
Found on the western side of Jinzhou, this Sonance Casket is sitting above a pavilion within the city. Head towards th
This Sonance Casket can be found floating high above a small island west of Jinzhou. To claim this casket, you will first need to unlock the Levitator, which can be unlocked during the events of the Echoing Marche main quest.
After arriving on the island, grab the Tacetite Fulminate and toss it at the Fissured Ledge to open a wind tunnel that reaches the Sonance Casket above.
This Sonance Casket is hidden above the memorial south of Jinzhou. Simply head to the location and climb what we assume to be an altar to claim this casket.
Spotted below a Resonance Beacon, this casket is resting on a rock platform. Assuming you already have the nearby fast travel points unlocked, you can quickly collect this casket by travelling above and looking down from the broken bridge.
The final Sonance Casket near Jinzhou is found above a pavilion resting on top of one of the peaks behind Jinzhou. In our first photo, we are standing above The Grand Library, so the image is reversed. But it is actually the left peak that you should head towards.
Around Tiger's Maw and Wuming Bay
The first Sonance Casket in the map's Tiger's Maw and Wuming Bay region is located atop a broken pillar north of the Corroded Ruins.
Near the first Sonance Casket is another Sonance Casket atop a mountain's edge, which is also located north of the Corroded Ruins and the Resonance Beacon there.
The next Sonance Casket is located atop a broken tower northeast of the Corroded Ruins. You must either use your Glider or climb to reach the top of this tower.
This Sonance Casket is located southeast of the Wuming Bay Resonance Nexus. Like most Sonance Caskets, it's also located near the edge of a mountain, so get your Glider ready!
You can get to this Sonance Casket by gliding from where the previous one (#4) was. It's placed at the top of a tree northwest of the Remnant Residence.
You can get the next Sonance Casket by climbing the massive, toppled tower right at the center of the Remnant Residence.
To make this climb easier, make sure to stick to the edges so you'll be able to recover stamina periodically, as you'll be able to run or walk on some surfaces near the edges instead of climbing them.
The next Sonance Casket is located on a small island northeast of the Hermit Settlement. You can get to this area quickly just by gliding from the location of the previous Sonance Casket (#6).
This Sonance Casket is on an elevated, broken piece of road northwest of the Hermit Settlement, near the Resonance Beacon you can unlock there.
To get there, simply find the hill near it and use Jump > Grapple > Glide > Jumping Dash > Glide.
Next up, this Sonance Casket can be found on a large drainage pipe located southwest of the Corroded Ruins, right beside a Tactical Hologram.
This Sonance Casket, located south of the Distribution Center, is encased in a Spike surrounded by Vine Traps.
Find all the Corroders near the area (you can do this easily by using your Sensor) to dissolve the Spike and collect the Sonance Casket inside.
Next up is a Sonance Casket on the top of a bridge further south of the Distribution Center, just a short run away from the previous one (#10).
This Sonance Casket is located inside an underground cave.
There aren't any hard-to-find “secret entrances”, however, as you'll only have to walk southwest of the Distribution Center to find an opening leading to this Sonance Casket.
Finally, we have the last Sonance Casket in the Wuming Bay and Tiger's Maw region, which is located atop a satellite tower north of the Settle Range.
Around Dim Forest
The first Sonance Casket in the Dim Forest is right in the center of the Violet Banyan, floating atop the tall, violet tree.
The next Sonance Casket is very close to the first one. It is located southwest of the Violet Banyan, resting on a tree trunk of a smaller violet tree.
This Sonance Casket is located atop an abandoned, leaning watchtower northwest of the Violet Banyan.
You can get to the Sonance Casket easily by using your Grapple on the Grapple Point placed right beside it.
This Sonance Casket is quite hard to find. It's located northeast of the Violet Banyan, but you won't be able to find it just by going there. Instead, you'll have to find the Cave Entrance (as shown above) first, which is located near the Violet Banyan.
From there, you'll have to walk further northeast, where you'll eventually find this Sonance Casket floating near a very high ledge, which you can reach quickly by using your Grapple on the Grapple Point near it.
Next up is the Sonance Casket located near a Resonance Beacon north of the Forbidden Forest. Just walk up to this Sonance Casket to collect it.
This Sonance Casket can be found on an overgrown tree root overlooking the sea northwest of the Forbidden Forest.
This Sonance Casket is located on top of a cliff south of the Forbidden Forest, and west of the Forbidden Forest Resonance Nexus.
This Sonance Casket can be found right in the center of three trees southwest of the Forbidden Forest. You can find it just a few jogs away from the previous Sonance Casket's (#7) location.
The next Sonance Casket is located in a tower further south of the Forbidden Forest. Vine Traps are covering the base of the tower.
You can either burn the Vine Traps off with the Explosive Charge nearby or get around them hassle-free by using your Grapple, then climbing to get the Sonance Casket.
The next Sonance Casket is located on a ledge near a waterfall west of the Giant Banyan.
This Sonance Casket is located atop a tree south of the Giant Banyan. You can either climb this tree if you come from below or Glide onto it if you use the Resonance Beacon north of this location.
The next Sonance Casket is inside a massive ribcage, located south of Wenye Beach and right beside a Resonance Beacon.
This Sonance Casket, which can be found east of Wenye Beach, is surrounded by Vine Traps.
Use the Explosive Charge highlighted in the first image above to clear out the Vine Traps and collect your prize.
This Sonance Casket can be found on the ledge of a tall hill located west of Wenye Beach, which you can either climb or Glide to (if you're coming from an elevated place).
The final Sonance Casket in the Dim Forest region can also be found in a tall mountain northwest of Wenye Beach, near a Resonance Beacon.
Around Whining Aix's Mire
The first Sonance Casket in Whining Aix's Mire is located northeast of Lollo Warehouse and southwest of the Whining Aix's Mire's Resonanace Nexus.
You can get this Sonance Casket either by using the Explosive Charge nearby to clear out the Vine Traps or just by using your Grapple, then Gliding between the Vine Traps.
The next Sonance Casket is placed atop a small hill directly north of the Whining Aix's Mire's Resonanace Nexus and northeast of the Lollo Warehouse.
This Sonance Casket can be found floating near a ledge northwest of the Plateau Ruins.
You'll have to use your Glider from the ledge to get this Sonance Casket. Use your Grapple, then Glide to ensure you have enough elevetion to get to it.
This Sonance Casket can be found floating right in the middle of a natural arch northwest of the Plateau Ruins.
You can wall-climb the arch, then drop down and Glide to get this Sonance Casket.
This Sonance Casket can be found northeast of Plateau Ruins, placed atop a chopped tree trunk.
This Sonance Casket can be found southeast of Plateau Ruins, under a rusty bridge.
You can find this Sonance Casket floating in the middle of a waterfall southwest of the Plateau Ruins.
We recommend getting to a high ground, then Gliding to get to this Sonance Casket.
This Sonance Casket is located in Port Gunchao, placed high up on an industrial steel platform.
The next Sonance Casket can also be found atop an industrial steel platform in Port Gunchao, near the previous Sonance Casket's (#8) location.
This Sonance Casket is located beneath a massive natural arch east of Port Gunchao. To get to it, you must get to a higher ground first, then Glide down.
You can find this Sonance Casket sitting at the very top of a leaning, dilapidated tower north of Frosting Harbor.
This Sonance Casket is located southwest of the Frosting Harbor, floating near the edge of a small waterfall.
The next Sonance Casket is floating beneath a mountain ledge far to the east of Fallen Grave.
You can easily get to this Sonance Casket by fast travelling to the nearby Resonance Beacon, then dropping down and Gliding from there.
This Sonance Casket can be found on a cracked rock formation east of the Fallen Grave.
This Sonance Casket can be found just a few jogs away from the previous casket (#14), floating near a waterfall east of the Fallen Grave.
This Sonance Cast is located southeast of the Fallen Grave, floating in crevice near the Mourning Aix's boss spawn point.
Once again, you'll have to Glide from above to get this Sonance Casket.
This Sonance Casket can be found underneath another natural arch southeast of the Fallen Grave.
You can find this Sonance Casket atop a tall rock collumn in a small island far southeast of the Fallen Grave.
This Sonance Casket is located south of Fallen Grave, in an underground cave that you can Glide into from above.
The next Sonance Casket is easier to locate than others, as it sits atop a small hill that you can simply walk or run to west of the Fallen Grave.
You can find this Sonance Casket near a mountain ledge on a small island you can Glide or swim to southwest of the Fallen Grave.
This Sonance Casket is a bit trickier to find, as it rests on an area inside the Fallen Grave. This region is locked by a thick fog sends you away until you do the Exploration Quest: Stygian Lacrimosa.
You'll then be able to get this Sonance Casket during or after the events of the Exploration Quest.
The last Sonance Casket you can find in the Whining Aix's Mire is located in the Court of Savantae Ruins, sitting atop the massive structure near the Mech Abomination's spawn point.
Around Port City of Guixu
This Sonance Casket can be found inside a building in Dongli Research Station, just above the broken staircase.
The nearest Sonance Casket to the previous one (#1) is located southwest of Dongli Research Station, floating above a small pond.
You can find this Sonance Casket in a broken railroad southeast of the Sea of Flames.
The fourth Sonance Casket can also be found indoors, inside a building located west of the Settle Range.
This Sonance Casket can be found on the roof of a building south of the Sea of Flames.
This next Sonance Casket is located southeast of the Sea of Fire, floating on the edge of a shattered asphalt road.
To get to this Sonance Casket, you'll have to go inside another building southeast of the Sea of Flames.
The entrance to the building can be found below the Cooking point.
For this Sonance Casket, which is located northeast of the Sea of Flames, you'll first have to remove a Spike covering the door to the small building where the Sonance Casket is at by using a Corroder nearby.
With the Spike removed, you'll then be able to enter the building, but find that the Sonance Casket is underneath the floorboards. You can blow up these floorboards and collect your prize by taking the bomb due east of the building and using it.
This Sonance Casket can be found inside a locked building east of the Sea of Flames.
To open the door, you'll have to get a Battery Pack (i.e. Induction Cell), which is then hidden inside a Fissured Ledge highlighted in the image above. This rock can be destroyed by a Tacetite Fulminate near the site.
The next Sonance Casket can be obtained due northeast of the Sea of Flames, floating above a small hill near an old, dilapidated building.
This Sonance Casket can be found on the 2nd floor of a building north of the Sea of Flames.
This Sonance Casket is located inside a building north of the Sea of Flames. The entrance to this building can be found on the rooftop, as shown in one of the images above.
Like a few of the previous Sonance Caskets, this one can also be found on the roof of a building located northwest of the Sea of Flames.
This Sonance Casket can be obtained beneath a natural arch west of the Sea of Flames.
You can find this Sonance Casket high above one of the steel arches in Nostalgia Isle.
To get to this one, you must climb along one of the chains supporting the steel arch carefully, then perform jumps, glides, and grapples if necessary once you're near the top.
The next Sonance Casket is floating atop a small pond east of the Nostalgia Isles.
You can either Glide from a higher place or perform a Jump + Grapple + Mid-Air Dash + Glide combo from the ground to get it.
This Sonance Casket is located right in the middle of Lake Deerslumber, resting on the roof of a heavily-guarded enemy fortress.
You can glide into it if you come from higher up, but be prepared to fight your way in (or just rush your way in) if you're coming in from below.
Sonance Casket #18, like a few other caskets, can be found near a ledge overlooking the sea. It's located north of the Nostalgia Isles.
You can find the last Sonance Casket in the Port City of Guixu by going to the far north region of the Sea of Flames.
You'll see it floating on a platform beneath a fragmented railroad, which you can get to easily by gliding down.
What are Sonance Caskets?
Data Fragments Containing the Past
Sonance Caskets are a data fragment of the Sonoro Spheres which contained records of the past. Within these caskets as well, there are records of the bygone past, treasured artifacts, and the human emotions experienced during the catastrophe.
Although these caskets don't have any financial worth, the relic hunters cherish them as the information stored in them is highly coveted. This is why they will give you multiple valuable items in exchange for them.
