Astrite is one of the premium currencies in Wuthering Waves that can be converted into Lunites to pull Convene banners. There are multiple ways to farm free Astrite, including completing daily activities, completing quests, and more.
Below, I'll be discussing all the methods one by one to farm free astrite, which will surely help you collect as much free Astrite as you can.
How to Farm Free Astrites in Wuthering Waves
Complete Daily Activities
You will get 5 Daily Activities to complete in the game. If you do so, you will get 60 Astrites every day without any difficulties:

Many of the Quests in Wuthering Waves feature Astrites as rewards:

Simply complete these quests to farm free Astrites, as well as lots of Union EXP so you can increase your Union Level fast!
Find Treasure Chests and Sonance Caskets
While exploring the map in Wuthering Waves, you'll be able to find many treasure chests spread around the map, with some requiring you to solve puzzles before you can open them.
Opening them will grant you Astrites right away. However, the quantity of Astrites will depend on the rarity of the chests.
While you're out exploring the world, make sure you collect every single Sonance Casket you see as well, since delivering them to the Relic Merchant in Jinzhou will net you up to 600 Astrites in total, once all Level Rewards have been claimed.
Hunting Tacet Discords
Some groups of enemies out on the world map have Tidal Inheritances near them, like the one shown in the image above. Clearing out the group of enemies will allow you to interact with their Tidal Heritage, and they'll give you Astrites along with other valuable items once opened.
On a related note, beating Overlord or Calamity-class Tacet Discords for the first time also gives you lots of free Astrites!
Achieve Account Milestones
You can farm a lot of Astrites over time simply by playing the game consistently and achieving certain milestones ranging from increasing your Data Bank Level by catching several types of Echoes to cooking a variety of food recipes.
Here are some of the in-game features that'll allow you to farm free Astrites in the long run in Wuthering Waves:

- Path of Growth (Skill Training & Basic Training)
- Data Bank
- Cooking Level Rewards
- Synthesis Level Rewards
- Exploration Progress Rewards

Note that all of these sources will only allow you to farm free Astrites at a slow pace, but the amount you'll get will be enough for multiple Convenes, so don't underestimate them!
Claim Event & Mail Rewards
Even as a beginner, can participate in a variety of Events that give you tons of free items, most notably Astrite.
As you can see from the image above, you can also receive rewards from things like maintenance compensations or social media events through your Mail. Don't forget to claim these ASAP, as some of them might expire quickly!
Redeem Codes
Just like in most other gacha games, you can farm free Astrites just by redeeming active gift codes in Wuthering Waves.
