How to Farm Union EXP Fast in Wuthering Waves
Leveling up your Union Level is very important, as it dictates your SOL3 Level and therefore the quality of loot you can get from slaying monsters, the maximum level your resonators can reach, as well as the furthest level your Data Bank can be upgraded to, affecting the rarities of Echoes you can absorb.
If you want to increase your Union Level as fast as possible, then worry not, as we've listed below all the best ways to get Union EXP so you can level up your Union Level fast in Wuthering Waves.
Play Through The Main Story
Main Story Quests will give you the most Resonance EXP out of all the other sources in the game. Not only that, but you can also farm a lot of Astrites and growth materials just by clearing them one after the other.
In fact, we highly recommend that you clear Main Story Quests until you run into a Union Level restriction, as shown above.
This forbids you from progressing through the main story unless you increase your Union Level through other means—all of which will be discussed further below.
Complete Side Quests, Exploration Quests, and Companion Stories
After blowing through the Main Story Quests and running into a Union Level restriction, the next best sources of Union EXP would be your:
- Side Quests
- Exploration Quests
- Companion Stories
These three give you tons of Union Level upon completion and should be your go-to clears as soon as you're locked out of the Main Story.

Complete Your Guidebook Tasks
Not to be confused with Daily Quests (these don't give you Union EXP)—your Daily Activity can be found in your Guidebook tab and allows you to clear a variety of tasks in exchange for multiple rewards, most notably Union EXP.
As you can see, you can get a pretty good amount of Union EXP if you clear these tasks every day, so don't forget to make it part of your daily routine!
Aside from your Daily Activity tasks, you can also get a lot of extra Union EXP from the Milestones and Forgery Challenge, both of which are also located in your Guidebook. Don't miss them!
Explore The World
Once you're done collecting all the Union EXP from all the other sources listed above, remember that you can also increase your Union Level fast by exploring your world and doing the following:
- Opening Chests
- Activating Resonance Nexus
- Activating Resonance Beacons
- Solving Puzzles
Sure, you might not get a lot of Union EXP in one go just by doing these things compared to other sources, but the amount you'll receive will add up tremendously over time!
Consume Your Waveplates
As you can see from the image above, you can essentially farm Union EXP from Overlord Tacet Discords all over your map by spending your Waveplates.
You can also earn Union EXP by doing the following tasks, all of which consume your Waveplates:
