In many circumstances, you might accidentally exhaust your Resonator's Max Stamina without realizing it, leaving them vulnerable or unable to act. This becomes a problem when combo-ing your way through dozens of enemies, or engaging a menacing Boss.
Getting your characters' Stamina up as much as possible is vital for combat and traversal, so if your Resonator keeps running out of breath, here's how you can increase their maximum Stamina in Wuthering Waves.
How To Increase Max Stamina

Although Wuthering Waves‘s user interface (UI) deserves praise for its tidiness and visuals, the Stamina gauge only pops up at the center of the screen whenever you perform certain actions. This makes it hard to gauge its use, especially for those unaware of it in the first place (I'm guilty as charged).
Currently, the only way to increase all your Resonators' Stamina is by acquiring Force Release Components. These are extremely rare Consumables strictly given as rewards for leveling up the Pangu Terminal's Data Bank.
Data Bank
As explained by Chixia and Yangyang early in the game, the Data Bank stores the information of all your newly absorbed Echoes, providing you with various combat effects and stat boosts.
From Level 1 to Level 10, your rewards will include a Force Release Component each, culminating in ten (10) of them at Level 10.
Each Force Release Component increases your maximum Stamina by 10 points. Since you start with 140 Stamina points from the beginning of the game, you're looking at a total of 240 Stamina points once you reach Level 10 of the Data Bank.
To level up the Data Bank, you only need to absorb different enemy Echoes randomly left behind by defeated monsters in the Overworld. Duplicate Echoes don't count, meaning you must ‘capture' different ones to enhance your Data Bank (like capturing different Pokemon for your Pokedex).
What Does Stamina Do?
For anyone unaware, Stamina is the resource your Resonator consumes to execute different in-game actions. These generally involve practices that affect your character's fatigue.
To exemplify this, these are the current player actions that use some of your Resonator's Stamina to perform (the small, circular yellow bar is the Stamina meter):
Dodging
Dodging enemy attacks instantly takes up around 1/8 of your Stamina, meaning you can only do it a few times back-to-back. Learn to preserve your Dodges for emergencies (try Parrying instead).
Climbing
Climbing heights or rocky formations also consume Stamina albeit slowly. You can Wall Dash if you're in a hurry, but it'll deplete your Stamina faster.
Swimming
Just like in real life, swimming uses your character's Stamina too. You can't traverse large lakes indefinitely as your Resonator will tire and drown, depleting your HP once revived on land.
Heavy Attacks
Heavy Attacks are flashy and amazing, but they consume some of your Stamina. This encourages you to mix your attacks into different combos instead of spamming more powerful ones.
Mid-Air/ Plunge Attacks
In Wuthering Waves, Mid-Air/ Plunge Attacks sacrifice small portions of your Stamina as well. Depending on the Resonator, the outgoing damage dealt is pretty significant.
Pro tip: Combine your aerial/ jump moves with Dodges and the Grapple to go even higher!
