Tyro Sword is a 2-star Sword in Wuthering Waves. Read ahead to gain insight into its overall performance, and uncover the methods to acquire this weapon.
Tyro Sword Overview
⭐⭐ Tyro Sword | Base Attack: 22 |
| Base Attack: 3.3% | |
| Passive Effect(s): Increases Attack by 5%. | |
In Wuthering Waves, the Attack stat is arguably the most important. You'll need those jumps in power to best the game's toughest Bosses, especially when you can become skilled at your Dodges and Parries to mitigate the focus away from HP or Defense.
This is evidenced by how many in-game weapons provide multiple traits boosting the Attack stat, including the 2-star beginner's Sword, the Tyro Sword.
Offering Attack bonuses from both its base stats and passive, the Tyro Sword helps empower your chosen Resonator to breeze through mobs to reach the mid-game earlier.
Tuning
| Rank | Passive Effect(s) |
|---|---|
| ⭐⭐ | Increases Attack by 6.25%. |
| ⭐⭐⭐ | Increases Attack by 7.5%. |
| ⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Increases Attack by 8.75%. |
| ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Increases Attack by 10%. |
Granted, rarer Swords are drastically more formidable than the Tyro Sword. That being said, this weapon wasn't made for the end-game; it primarily serves as a soft ‘bridge' to lessen the gap between your Resonator's low level and enemies' increasing threat.
By Tuning the Tyro Sword to its maximum capabilities, you'll get a nice 10% Attack buff that is cumulatively added with the Sword's other two (2) Attack stat increases, giving you quite the DPS improvement.
Still, it won't be enough to tackle more deadly Bosses, so if you truly wish to keep this Sword for other uses, it might be wisest to equip it on your alternate or sub-DPS character instead.
