Woo Jinchul Best Builds

In this section, you'll find TWO best builds for Woo Jinchul.

The first build recommends the best possible Weapon and Artifacts for Woo Jinchul. Naturally, those are high-value gear that aren't easily acquired. So, we have another beginner-friendly build until you get better weapons and artifacts.

Survivor Build

Woo Jinchul is one of the quickest Hunters in Solo Leveling: Arise and heavily relies on Evasion. So, to get the best out of him, you need to focus on Defense, Defense Penetration and Wind Damage. There are very few gear-sets that perfectly match his unique play style, but here are your best options.

Best Weapon

WeaponEffects
On a Different Level icon - Solo Leveling: Arise
On a Different Level
The user's attacks ignore 2%* of the target's Defense.
When Mediation of Power is used, increases damage dealt to the target by 5%* for 3 seconds (up to 3 stacks).
*Values increase with higher Advancement Levels

Woo Jinchul's best weapon is his Exclusive Weapon – On a Different Level – which boosts the user's damage output by ignoring the target's defense. As you level up his weapon, his damage output increases accordingly. You can get his exclusive weapon from the 14-day Check-In event- it's one of the few SSR weapons that are free to obtain.

Best Artifacts

ArtifactsEffects
Destroyer Artifacts set icon - Solo Leveling: Arise
Destroyer
Equip 2 Pieces: Increases Power Gauge Acquisition Rate by 20%.
Equip 4 Pieces: When the battle starts, charges the user's Power Gauge by 50% and also increases the the user and their team members' Power Gauge Acquisition Rate by an additional 20%.
Outstanding Connection artifact set icon - Solo Leveling: Arise
Outstanding Connection
Equip 2 Pieces: When tagging out, increases the Attack of the user and their team members by 12% for 10 seconds.
Equip 4 Pieces: Increase Attack effect increases to 28% and duration increases to 15 seconds.

Seeing a his Ultimate deals the most damage, you need an artifact set that can fill the Power Gauge as quickly as possible and the Destroyer set is the best choice. It not only speeds up the Power Gauge Acquisition rate of the user but also provides a boost to the team members.

For the right side accessories, Outstanding Connection seems the best choice. The attack boost when tagging will make him a valuable team asset.

Alternate Build

For those who can't get their hands on the exclusive weapon and the above-mentioned artifacts, here are some alternate options that are a bit easier to get.

Best Weapon

WeaponEffects
Steel Axe icon - Solo Leveling: Arise weapon
Steel Axe
Your Core Attack damage increases by 9%*.
*Values increase with higher Advancement Levels

If you don't have Woo Jinchul's exclusive weapon yet, then the next best weapon is the Steel Axe that will boost his Core Attack and eventually increase the user's Attack, Defense, and HP stats. Max out the R-rarity Hatchet if the Steel Axe is not available.

Best Artifacts

ArtifactsEffects
Solid Foundation icons - Solo Leveling: Arise
Solid Foundation
Equip 2 Pieces: Increase the user's Basic Attack damage by 18%.
Equip 4 Pieces: Increases the user's Core Attack damage by 18% and when an attack hits, charges the user's Core Gauge by 60.
Berserker icons - Solo Leveling: Arise Artifacts
Berserker
Equip 2 Pieces: When the user has 50% HP or less, their damage dealt increases by 15%.
Equip 4 Pieces: HP condition changes to 70% and Damage Dealt Increase effect increases to 30%.

If you don't have the right weapon and artifact pieces to play on Jinchul's Ultimate, scaling off of his Basic and Core attacks is your next best bet. Use the Solid Foundation set for that purpose. Berserker is interchangeable with Executioner if you want to deal damage proportionate to your enemy's HP instead of your own.
