Almost two months after Google announced that Android P stood for Android Pie, we have yet to see the latest version of Android make an appearance in the Android distribution charts. This is despite OnePlus, Nokia, Essential, Sony, and other brands taking part in Pie's Beta Program.

In a distinctly odd state of events, these latest figures were collected over a seven day period ending on September 28. As you can see from the chart above, the pie-less pie chart, if you will, Android Pie is missing which means it hasn't even achieved the minimum 0.% threshold.
Regarding numbers, Oreo (8.0 and 8.1) has significantly increased its share of the market to 19.2% after a bump of 4.6% from the previous figures. Nougat is still king of the hill with 29.3%, although with a decrease of 0.5%, it's evident that the long slow decline has finally begun.

It isn't unusual for the latest version of Android to be missing from the distribution charts at this time of year, but with more brands taking part in the Developer Preview program this time around, we were hoping that Pie would at least budge the needle. That being said, it isn't surprising when you consider that the only non-Pixel handsets running a stable build of Android Pie are the OnePlus 6 and Essential Phone.
When do you think we'll see Pie make its appearance on the chart?
