2026 has been a significant year for Bryan Cranston. The Breaking Bad star recently reprised his comedic role as Hal in Hulu’s Malcolm in the Middle: Life's Still Unfair revival. But fans of his darker work should take note—one of his most intense series is about to be removed from Netflix.

Your Honor: Leaving Netflix Soon

If you've had Your Honor sitting on your Netflix watchlist, now's the time to hit play. The Showtime crime drama starring Cranston is officially being pulled from Netflix. Seasons 1 and 2 will leave the platform on Sunday, May 31. So if you've been putting off watching this tense story or haven’t caught up, you only have a short window left.

From Limited Series to Two Seasons—But No More

Your Honor was originally planned as a limited series, but after drawing strong ratings, it returned for a second season. A third season, however, has been ruled out. Cranston confirmed back in July 2022 that the second season would be the last, explaining at the time:

“I am [currently] preparing for the second and last season of Your Honor, which is a limited series that I did for Showtime. As they tell me, it got higher ratings than any other series they've ever had—and so, one more season of that.”

Though Showtime had not immediately commented after Cranston’s announcement, speculation about the series' future persisted for a while longer.

Season 3? Unlikely, but Not Entirely Ruled Out

In April 2023, Cranston addressed lingering questions about a potential third season. Speaking with Deadline, he said:

“My comment was ‘I’m not sure that there could be or there is.' There is some discussion. Showtime has indicated there is interest and we’re very proud to know that every episode in Season 2 increased in the audience from the previous week. If it happens, fantastic but it’d have to be some great reason to keep expanding in this world and to find out where the allegiances are. I’d be very interested in producing that. I don’t know about being in it because my guy’s back in prison.”

At this point, a third season has not materialized and none is currently in development, but there has been reported interest in continuing the story.

Cast, Story, and Reception

Your Honor wrapped its second season on March 19, 2023, with its eighth episode. Cranston starred as Judge Michael Desiato, with Hunter Doohan as his son Adam. The cast also featured Sofia Black-D'Elia as Frannie Latimer, Michael Stuhlbarg as Jimmy Baxter, Hope Davis as Gina Baxter, Isiah Whitlock Jr. as Charlie Figaro, and Carmen Ejogo as Lee Delamere.

While Your Honor achieved strong ratings for Showtime, critical response has been mixed. As of this publication, the series averages a 49% score with critics on Rotten Tomatoes and 67% from viewers on the Popcornmeter. Season 1 holds a 49% approval rating with critics and 69% with audiences. Season 2 sits at 50% on Rotten Tomatoes, with viewer ratings on the Popcornmeter at 64%.

With just two weeks left before Your Honor leaves Netflix, now is the time to watch it and see what all the discussion is about.
