How to Get Melding Cubes in Solo Leveling Arise

As you can see from the image above, five types of Melding Cubes are divided by their element types:
| Melding Cube Types | Description |
|---|---|
![]() Fire Melding Cube | They are used for Limit-Breaking Fire-element Weapons. |
![]() Ice Melding Cube | They are used for Limit-Breaking Water-element Weapons. |
![]() Wind Melding Cube | Used for Limit-Breaking Wind-element Weapons. |
![]() Holy Melding Cube | They are used for Limit-Breaking Light-element Weapons. |
![]() Dark Melding Cube | They are used for Limit-Breaking Dark-element Weapons. |

Melding Cubes are used for Limit Break, which increases the max level of both Player Weapons (i.e. Sung Jinwoo's Exclusive Weapons) and Hunter Weapons. This allows you to improve their stats and overall DPS further.
Improving your Weapons via Limit Breaks and Enhancements is one of the best ways to get stronger fast in Solo Leveling: Arise. To help you with this, we've listed all the sources you can farm Melding Cubes from below!
TIP: Melding Cubes are among the most important items to farm even early on, but they can be quite difficult to get, especially if you're still a beginner. Make sure not to overspend what Melding Cubes you have. Use them only on Weapons you're planning to use in the long run!
Clear Dungeon Breaks

The best way to get Melding Cubes in the game is to just farm as many Dungeon Breaks (i.e. Purple Gates) as you can every day.
Make sure to always Rescan and never settle for Normal Gates (i.e. Blue Gates), as you won't get any Melding Cubes from them.
TIP: Dungeon Breaks often requires Sung Jinwoo to participate in the battle, so make sure he's equipped with his best Artifacts and that his AP is allocated only among his best stats to ensure that you'll be able to clear some of the harder Gates without a hitch!
Participate in Events

Aside from farming Dungeon Breaks, you can also get Melding Cubes by grinding events and claiming the cubes as rewards.
New events often come around every time a new Hunter is featured on the Draw page, and some of them (like the event shown in the image above) will give you Melding Cubes so long as you're willing to do the work!
Remember to always check the Events page for events that'll allow you to get Melding Cubes and other precious items. Alternatively, you can join the Solo Leveling: Arise Official Discord Server and stay tuned for event announcements there!
Visit the Exchange Shop
Two exchange shops sell Melding Cube Selection Chests—the Mana Crystal Exchange Shop and the Weapon Materials Exchange Shop.

The Mana Crystal Exchange Shop sells two Melding Cube Selection Chests per day for 35 Mana Crystals each. The stock is refreshed daily. You can farm Mana Crystals mainly by clearing Gates and doing Mining Operations.
Make sure to always buy these chests whenever you have the Mana Crystals for them, especially if you're still in the early game!

You can also get Melding Cubes from Melding Cube Selection Chests that are sold in the Weapon Materials Exchange Shop. One chest costs 450 Traces of Dimension, which you can get by salvaging R-rarity Weapons.
This shop's stock of 10 Melding Cube Selection Chests refreshes every week, so feel free to buy them from here if you have the fodder R-rarity Weapons to spare!
Play Battlefield of Trials & Battlefield of Time

As you can see from the image above, you can get Melding Cube Selection Chests by clearing some floors in the Battlefield of Trials.

The same goes for the Battlefield of Time, where you can receive Melding Cube Selection Chests as ranking rewards.
Don't forget to play these Game Modes as soon as you unlock them!
Clear Achievements

Lastly, you can also get Melding Cubes passively simply by clearing certain Achievement milestones and claiming the reward, as you can see from the image above.
One Achievement that rewards you Melding Cubes, in particular, is the “Collect Weapons” Achievement, which gives you increasing amounts of Melding Cubes depending on how many Player Weapons and Hunter Weapons you've collected.
Conclusion
Melding Cubes are among the most important items in the game, as the strength of your Weapons directly impacts whether or not you'll be able to win a specific battle.
But now that you've learned how to get Melding Cubes, how about checking out the best Weapons to Limit Break for Sung Jinwoo to know where exactly to invest your cubes in, as well as Sung Jinwoo's best Skills so you can further improve his fighting power?
