Claim Your Activity Funds
The most reliable way to get Weapon Enhancement Gears, in the long run, is to simply claim them from your Activity Funds.
If you want to be able to claim more Weapon Enhancement Gears from your Activity Funds, make sure you farm Player EXP (i.e. Sung Jinwoo's EXP) and level up your account as often as you can.
TIP: To not waste items your Activity Funds could've otherwise generated, do not leave it at 100%. Make sure to claim your rewards at least twice a day!
Grind Events

This may not sound like much, but we still recommend clearing all Daily Missions consistently, as your Daily Missions are also one of the most consistent sources of other precious items like Gold and Essence Stones.
The amount of Weapon Enhancement Gears you get from here will eventually add up the more you play the game, so just be patient!
Salvage Weapons
You can also get Weapon Enhancement Gears by salvaging either Hunter or Player Weapons, as you can see in the image above.
Every Weapon, regardless of rarity, gives you the same number of Weapon Enhancement Gears when salvaged (x3 Weapon Enhancement Gears at Level 1), but rarity does affect whether you're given Hunter Exclusive Weapon Designs or Mana Power Imbued Castings as well.
Also, keep in mind that salvaging Weapons that have been leveled up gives you back a little over half of the Weapon Enhancement Gears you've invested in it.
NOTE: Make sure you keep Sung Jinwoo's best weapons as well as your Hunters' locked just so you don't accidentally salvage them.
Enter Gates
You can enter Gates and farm Weapon Enhancement Gears from them.
Do note, however, that you can only get Weapon Enhancement Gears from Normal Gates (i.e. Blue Gates). Dungeon Breaks, Red Gates, and Special Gates give you other valuable resources like Melding Cubes, Gold, or Skill Scrolls.
TIP: Rescanning for Dungeon Breaks, Red Gates, or Special Gates is still more optimal, but still recommend clearing a few high-rank Normal Gates per day, especially if you're low on Weapon Enhancement Gears!
Go to the Exchange Shop
You can buy Weapon Enhancement Gears from two Exchange Shops:
- Weapon Materials Exchange
- Mana Crystal Exchange
In the Weapon Materials Exchange, can purchase up to 30 Weapon Enhancement Gear II (x5) for 750 Traces of Dimensions each. The stock is reset per week.
In the Mana Crystal Exchange, can purchase up to 10 Weapon Enhancement Gear I (x10) for 20 Low-Tier Mana Crystals each. The stock is reset per day.
Make sure to pick these up along with the Melding Cube Selection Chests as often as you can, especially if you're a beginner!
Sometimes, you'll also be able to buy Weapon Enhancement Gears from Event Shops, such as the Rock, Paper, Scissors Event Exchange shown above.
Again, make sure you're keeping up with Events that allow you to grind for valuable items like this!
Complete Missions & Achievement Milestones
Simply clearing Achievement milestones gives you Weapon Enhancement Gears passively.
You'll most often find Weapon Enhancement Gears featured as rewards in Growth Achievement milestones—specifically the one that requires you to Limit Break Sung Jinwoo and your Hunter's Weapons several times.
The same goes for Challenges, as it allows you to get Weapon Enhancement Gears just by completing certain tasks.
Your Challenges are also among the best sources of free Essence Stones and Custom Draw Tickets, so make sure you're always keeping track of them until they're all cleared!
