It's official: Samsung's Galaxy Note 10 is launching on August 7 4

It's that time of year where we endure a steady drip-feed of leaks and rumors about the next edition of Samsung's Galaxy Note series of smartphones. Recent leaks point towards Samsung launching two variants of the Galaxy Note 10 range consisting of a regular and a Plus model. We have one less thing to wonder about because the Korean electronics giant has today announced that it is officially unveiling the Galaxy Note 10 range at an Unpacked event held in New York on August 7th.

The teaser image sent out by Samsung's PR shows the S Pen as well as what appears to be a punch-hole cut-out, which recently leaked images show as being located on the top center of the display. We can expect the Galaxy Note 10 to launch running the Snapdragon 855 processor, sporting 6GB-12GB of RAM, triple or quadruple rear cameras (depending on model), as well as the all-important S Pen which will no doubt be upgraded in some way over the Galaxy Note 9's stylus. Sadly, we can also expect the Galaxy Note 10 pricing to start from $1000, with high RAM/storage variants edging towards the $1750 mark. Yikes.

So, Samsung is launching the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ on August 7th in New York at the very same venue where it launched the last year's Galaxy Note 9. Pre-orders will no doubt be live shortly afterward, with devices shipping and becoming available in stores around 10-days after the Unpacked launch event.

The big question is whether your pre-order the regular Galaxy Note 10 or the higher-specced Plus variant. Let us know in the comments below.
