What if your phone plan let you trade Netflix for ESPN when football season rolls around, then put that same value toward a new phone next spring? That's the pitch behind T-Mix, T-Mobile's new plan lineup, which starts at $55 a month for one line and arrives in November.
What's new

T-Mix comes in three tiers: Standard, More and Loaded. Every plan includes Picks, which T-Mobile describes as credits you put toward the benefits you actually want instead of accepting a fixed bundle and paying extra for add-ons.
Standard starts at $55 a month for one line with one Pick, More at $75 with two, and Loaded at $95 with three. Here's how pricing and Picks scale, with AutoPay, plus taxes and fees:
| Plan | 1 line | 2 lines | 3 lines | 4 lines | Picks (1 to 4 lines) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $55 | $85 | $100 | $115 | 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 |
| More | $75 | $130 | $155 | $180 | 2 / 4 / 6 / 7 |
| Loaded | $95 | $160 | $200 | $240 | 3 / 6 / 9 / 11 |
If this sounds familiar, it should. We covered the leaked T-Mix details earlier this month, and the official version now has names, prices and a launch window attached.
Why it matters
Carrier plans have worked the same way for years. You pick a tier, it comes with whatever streaming deals the carrier negotiated, and if you never open Apple TV, that's your problem.
T-Mobile is betting people would rather choose. The carrier cites its own survey claiming 84% of Americans want more control over what they pay for in wireless, and it says roughly 1 in 4 customers plan to hold off on a phone upgrade.
That second stat explains a lot. Device promotions now cost Picks too, so a new phone deal draws from the same pool as your streaming and gaming perks.
What each Pick buys

Not every benefit costs the same. According to T-Mobile's plan chart, partner benefits break down like this, with T-Mobile's stated monthly value where its promo material gives one:
- 1 Pick: Apple TV ($14.99), DashPass by DoorDash ($9.99), 500 miles a month through Delta SkyMiles, Google AI Plus, Hulu with ads ($12.49), Netflix Standard with ads ($8.99), Pandora Plus, Paramount+ Essential ($8.99), SiriusXM All Access, app only ($11.99), YouTube Premium Lite ($8.99)
- 2 Picks: Apple Music Individual ($11.99), Google AI Pro, Pandora Premium, Xbox Game Pass Premium ($14.99), YouTube Premium
- 3 Picks: Netflix Standard, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
- 4 Picks: ESPN Unlimited ($31.99), Netflix Premium
Apple TV's 1-Pick price is a limited-time deal. T-Mobile says you need to select it now to keep that rate until your first Annual Remix window, which could come as early as June 2027 depending on when you activate.
On the T-Mobile side, T-Satellite and a new feature called Optimized Video Calling cost 1 Pick each, and Video Calling comes included on Loaded. T-Mobile says it uses a network slice to give video calls prioritized network access. Device promotions take 1 to 3 Picks per line.
That puts the math in perspective. A single Loaded line has three Picks, enough for Netflix Standard with ads, Hulu and Apple TV, while ESPN Unlimited or Netflix Premium alone needs four.
How the three plans differ

Beyond Picks, the tiers split on data, video quality, hotspot and travel allowances:
| Feature | Standard | More | Loaded |
|---|---|---|---|
| Premium data | 50GB | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Video streaming | SD (480p) | Up to 4K UHD | Up to 4K UHD |
| Hotspot | Unlimited at 3G speeds | 60GB high-speed, then 3G speeds | 250GB high-speed, then 3G speeds |
| Canada and Mexico data | Unlimited at 2G speeds | 15GB high-speed, then up to 256Kbps | 30GB high-speed, then up to 256Kbps |
| International data (215+ countries and destinations) | Unlimited texting only | 5GB high-speed, then 256Kbps, plus texting | 15GB high-speed, then 256Kbps, plus texting |
| Discounted BYOD watch and tablet lines | No | No | $5 a month |
All three plans charge $0.50 a minute for international calling and include Scam Shield Basic. They also support both of T-Mobile's device payment options, Classic and Flex.
How changing your mix works

Partner benefits can be changed four times a year, across three change windows plus an Annual Remix window. T-Mobile benefits such as T-Satellite can be swapped anytime, and your plan and its monthly price stay the same either way.
The fine print adds a few rules. Changing a partner benefit outside a window may cost a fee, device promotions hold your Picks for the length of the promotion, and unused Picks don't carry over to the next quarter.
What every plan includes
All three tiers get T-Mobile's member perks without spending a Pick. Those include T-Mobile Tuesdays, hotel and rental car perks, a premium in-flight drink on eligible Delta flights, MLB.TV On Us, and Club Magenta access at events like the MLB All-Star Game and Lollapalooza.
T-Mobile also says discounted versions of T-Mix are coming for customers who are 55+, military and veterans, first responders and college students. Pricing for those hasn't been announced yet.
The value math
T-Mobile claims T-Mix Loaded delivers at least $120 in average value per line each month, which works out to over $1,440 a year. For a family of three, the carrier puts that at more than $4,320 annually.
T-Mobile also says T-Mobile Tuesdays handed out over $900 in free items over the past year. For readers in the UK, EU and Canada, T-Mix is a US-only lineup, so this one is about watching where carrier plans are heading rather than switching.
How Loaded compares with Experience Beyond
On paper, Loaded looks a lot like T-Mobile's current top plan, Experience Beyond 2.0. Both offer unlimited premium data, up to 4K streaming, a 250GB high-speed hotspot, 30GB of high-speed data in Canada and Mexico, 15GB across 215+ countries and destinations, and $5 watch and tablet lines.
The difference is how the extras arrive. Beyond includes Netflix Standard with ads, Hulu and T-Satellite, plus Apple TV for $3 a month, along with a 5-Year Price Guarantee.
On a single Loaded line, those same three included services use up all three Picks, and Apple TV would need a fourth. In return, Loaded adds Optimized Video Calling and lets you swap any of those Picks for something else, like YouTube Premium or Game Pass.
Pricing isn't a straight comparison yet. T-Mobile lists Beyond at $105 a month for one line before AutoPay, while Loaded's $95 already includes AutoPay.
Takeaway
On paper, Loaded is the T-Mix plan to look at if you already pay for two or three streaming services, use a lot of hotspot data, or cross into Canada and Mexico often. More makes sense for heavy data users who want 4K streaming without Loaded's price, while Standard suits light users who can live with 50GB of premium data and SD video.
We're still waiting on an exact November date, word on what happens to the current Experience plans, and whether T-Mix gets a price guarantee like Beyond's. It'll be worth seeing how the Picks math holds up in real-world use, especially for single-line customers whose three Picks go fast once ESPN or Netflix Premium is on the wish list.
