Robles added, “I can’t wait for fans to see where this creature and the mysterious blue flower—which we last saw bloom in the Upside Down at the end of Season 1—will take our young heroes.” The new episodes are expected to arrive on Netflix before the end of 2026, according to Robles’ interview.

With the original Stranger Things cast having moved on, new actors are now voicing the beloved characters. Brooklyn Davey Norstedt takes on Eleven, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport voices Max, Luca Diaz is Mike, Elisha Williams plays Lucas, Braxton Quinney handles Dustin, Benjamin Plessala is Will, Brett Gipson takes the role of Hopper, and Jeremy Jordan voices Steve.
