Smart home gear rarely gets a proper discount, so when Aqara and Nanoleaf both drop prices on the same day it's worth paying attention. Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days sale has Aqara cameras, locks and sensors from $29.99, and Nanoleaf lights and panels from $69.99. The best of them are 30% to 53% off.
Aqara's pricing runs through the event, which Amazon says ends tonight, and Nanoleaf has said its own promotion runs on to October 11. Anything marked as a Prime Big Deal needs a membership to get the listed price. I picked six from each brand that I'd actually put in a basket.
Aqara camera and lock deals
Security is where Aqara's discounts are easiest to justify, because a camera or a lock earns its keep from day one. These three cover the front door, the outside of the house and the lock itself.

- Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro (Wi-Fi): A 4MP outdoor camera hub that Aqara says offers true color night vision. $139.99, down from $199.99 Amazon
- Aqara Video Doorbell G4: A 1080p video doorbell with an indoor chime and HomeKit Secure Video support. $69.99, down from $79.99 Amazon
- Aqara Smart Lock U400: A fingerprint deadbolt that supports Apple Home Key and Aqara's UWB hands-free unlocking. $219.99, down from $269.99 Amazon
Aqara hub, sensor and lighting deals
If you're already building out an Aqara setup, the hub is the part that holds it together. We recently looked at Aqara's new smart lighting range, and the LED strip here is a cheap way into the same ecosystem.

- Aqara Smart Home Hub M3: A Matter controller and Zigbee bridge with IR control, built for more advanced automations. $119.99, down from $159.99 Amazon
- Aqara Presence Sensor FP2: A wired mmWave radar sensor that detects people by zone rather than just motion. $57.99, down from $82.99 Amazon
- Aqara LED Strip T1: A 6.5-foot RGBIC strip you can cut to length, with Matter support through an Aqara hub. $29.99, down from $54.99 Amazon
Nanoleaf string, lamp and outdoor light deals
Nanoleaf's discounts are the deeper ones, and the holiday lights are the headline. We covered the white floor lamp dropping to $89.99 last winter, and $77.99 for a color-changing Matter lamp is a stronger offer than that one.

- Nanoleaf Smart String Lights: 300 RGBW LEDs across 78.8 feet of indoor string, which is a lot of Christmas tree. $69.99, down from $149.99 Amazon
- Nanoleaf Matter Smart Floor Lamp: A 1,700 lumen RGBTW standing lamp that works over Matter. $77.99, down from $119.99 Amazon
- Nanoleaf Matter Permanent Outdoor Lights: Smart RGBCW string lights designed to stay up outside year-round. $237.49, down from $349.99 Amazon
Nanoleaf panel deals
The wall panels are the pricier end of Nanoleaf's range, so a 20% to 35% cut matters more here than on a bulb. All three kits below are the starter sets, so you can start small and add more panels later.

- Nanoleaf Blocks Combo 10-pack: A 10-panel combo of Nanoleaf's Blocks panels for a bigger wall display. $159.99, down from $199.99 Amazon
- Nanoleaf Lines 60 Degrees Smarter Kit (9 Lines): Nine light bars you can join at 60 degree angles for a geometric wall design. $139.99, down from $199.99 Amazon
- Nanoleaf Shapes Hexagons Smarter Kit (7 panels): Seven hexagon panels from the Shapes range, which is the easiest way into Nanoleaf. $124.99, down from $149.99 Amazon
Which of these deals are worth buying?
On percentage alone, the Nanoleaf holiday lights at 53% off and the Aqara LED Strip T1 at 45% off lead the pack. The Aqara Camera Hub G5 Pro and Presence Sensor FP2 are the two I'd go for if you want something that does a job rather than just looks nice, with 30% off each.
The Aqara Video Doorbell G4 is the weakest deal on the list at $10 off, and I'd wait for a better price unless you need one now. If you're not already in the Aqara ecosystem, the hub, sensors and lock only make sense as a package, so don't buy one piece and hope.
Aqara's pricing is tied to Amazon's event, so those deals are the more urgent ones, while Nanoleaf says its promotion runs through October 11. It'll be worth seeing whether these prices stick around once the sale wraps up. If you're also hunting for other gear, our Echo, Kindle and Fire TV deals roundup covers the rest of Amazon's own devices.
