Amazon is knocking money off its own hardware as Prime Big Deal Days wraps up tonight, with a Fire TV Stick 4K Select at $17.99 and an Echo Dot at $39.99 leading the pack. Is it all worth buying, or is this just the usual pre-holiday clearance dressed up with a countdown timer? I sorted through the lot and kept the ones I'd actually put in a basket.
Amazon says the event ends tonight, and the deals marked for Prime members need a membership to get the listed price. Here's what's worth your attention.

Kindle and Fire tablet deals

Ring deals

Video doorbells are where Amazon's discounts tend to look the most dramatic, and this year is no exception.

Blink deals
Blink is Amazon's cheaper security camera brand, and these are its easiest entry points.

eero deals
Mesh Wi-Fi is the least glamorous item here, and arguably the one that makes the biggest difference.
- eero 6+ (3-pack): A mesh kit covering up to 4,500 square feet, for internet plans up to Gigabit speeds. $214.99, down from $299.99 Amazon

Which of these deals are worth buying?
If you only buy one thing, make it the Fire TV Stick 4K Select at $17.99, because it's cheap enough to be an impulse buy and useful from day one. The Echo Dot at $39.99 and the Ring Battery Doorbell 2K at $39.99 are the other easy ones, and on paper they're strong prices for devices most households will actually use. Skip the Soundbar Plus and the eero Pro 7 unless you were already planning an upgrade, because a discount doesn't make a $140 or $600 purchase any more necessary.
We're keen to see how Amazon's battery and coverage claims for the Blink and eero gear hold up in real-world use, and it's worth checking price history on the “typical” price items before you commit.
If you're after phones rather than plug-in gadgets, we've also covered $600 off the Motorola Razr Ultra 2025 in the same sale. Tonight's the cutoff, so decide now or pay full price later.
