“No Response Tonight” is a side quest between Settle Range and Violet Banyan. You've picked up a recording. The wind is howling in your ears, carrying the whispers. Perhaps the robot nearby holds the key to unraveling the continuation of the story.
Step-by-Step No Response Tonight Guide
Unlock the Quest
Head to the Resonance Beacon (Huanglong-Dim Forest-Thorny Passage) between Settle Range and Violet Banyan. You will find a small campsite next to it. Near the broken tent, there's a glowing item on top of the wooden crates. Interact with it to start the Quest.
Inspect the Robot
At the campsite, you will also find a broken Robot. Interact with it to discover that you need spare parts to fix it and collect information. You will need three parts:
- Spare Parts
- Power Supply Pack
- Motor
To start your search, equip your Sensor utility and scan the area. You will automatically enter a brief cutscene of spotting Excarats traces.
Hack the Signal Console
Before leaving the camp and following the Excarat's traces, Hack the Signal Console to make the location of the other robot parts appear on your map. This should save you a trip back to the camp.
Find Spare Parts
Follow the trail of Gemberries to a burrow. Interact with the burrow to trigger an attack by a group of Excarat. Eliminate the Excarat, then dig the burrow to obtain the Spare Part.
Clear the Area
Head to the next location, west of Settle Range. There's a small Exile camp marked with a blue icon on your map. Clear the area by defeating the enemies to trigger a brief cutscene revealing the location of the Power Pack.
Complete the ‘Shooting Party'
For the final parts to repair the robot, you must complete the ‘Shooting Party' Side Quest. Finishing the shooting challenge will reward you with the Motor part.
To start the quest, interact with the Strange Flyer found on the table at the Exile Camp, and the side quest should appear in your quest journal. You can check our complete guide for the ‘Shooting Party' side quest here:
Repair the Robot
Once you have completed the ‘Shooting Party' and obtained the Motor part, return to the campsite and repair the Robot. After the repairs, you will have a brief dialogue with the robot, which will provide information about the history of the site. At the end of the conversation, the quest concludes.
How to Unlock No Response Tonight
Completing “Utterance of Marvels: II” and gaining access to Jinzhou City will give you the freedom to reach the Side Quest area.
No Response Tonight is an unmarked quest. You must head to Resonance Beacon (Huanglong-Dim Forest-Thorny Passage), between Settle Range and Violet Banyan. There's a camp next to the beacon with a radio on top of the wooden crate. Interact with it, and the quest will start.
