Waveplate is the stamina system in Wuthering Waves. If you have played Genshin Impact, it is the same as Resin. However, the maximum cap of Waveplate is greater than that of resin. You should make sure to spend all the Waveplates daily to get the most out of your gaming progress.
Having said that, this guide will contain all the aspects you need to know about Waveplate and where you should spend it.
Waveplate – Overview
As mentioned in the intro, Waveplate is the stamina system of Wuthering Waves. However, there are more details to it which I'll be mentioning in the subheadings below!
Usage
Waveplate is used to obtain various upgrade materials and other resources from multiple resources and competing with the bosses in the game.
Maximum Cap
The maximum cap of Waveplate is 240, which is 60 more than the 180 max limit of Genshin Impact. Furthermore, 1 Waveplate is generated every 6 minutes. So, quick math: you will have the 240 Waveplate every 24 hours.
How to Get Waveplate
Apart from the automatic replenishment, there are two more ways to get Waveplate, as follows:
- Exchanging Astrites
- Consuming Crystal Solvent
To elaborate, you can farm Astrites, and use them to get Waveplates if you have an urgency. Moreover, you have the option to use Crystal Solvent. It is an in-game consumable that you can get as a reward by completing various missions.
Consuming Crystal Solvent will give you 60 Waveplate right away!
Where to Spend
There are multiple areas where you can use Waveplate. I'll write them down along with the number of Waveplate they consume.
- Union Level: 20
- Forgery Challenge: 40
- Simulation Challenge: 40
- Tacet Field Cleanup: 60
- Boss Challenge: 60
- Weekly Challenge: 60
Following will be a short explanation of all of the above.
Union Level
Union Level is the main account level which is levelled-up by getting Union EXP. While there are other ways to obtain it, one way is to spend Waveplate. Spending 20 Waveplate will give you 150 Union EXP.
Forgery Challenge
Completing these challenges will reward you with the valuables through which you can break through weapons, ascend resonators, and upgrade skills. Here you will have to defeat a wave of enemies in a specific time limit to claim the rewards. You can play these challenges with your friends as well.
Simulation Challenge
Simulation Challenge has 3 modules and all of them have different rewards. You can complete any of them multiple times to claim the rewards.
Tacet Field Cleanup
This is a game mode where you will be up against 4 waves of enemies. Upon defeating the fourth one, you will get 1 and 3 Cost Echoes of 2 random, specific sets, and some more rewards.
Boss Challenge
As evident, you will have to fight some dangerous bosses here which who won't be easy to beat at the start. However, after defeating them, you will get many EXP materials, Astrites, and more.
Weekly Challenge
Complete weekly challenges 3 times to get the maximum reward outcome. Again, you will be up against some Wuthering Waves‘ bosses.
