The big 6.65-inch AMOLED display has FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080) 120Hz refresh rate with 240Hz touch sampling for increased responsiveness. On the back is the same RGB Light Strip as on the full-featured model, showing off the Red Magic branding in a chroma like fashion that can be customized and disabled as needed.

Besides the step down to the Snapdragon 765G that has been coupled with ICE 2.5 Liquid Cooling Technology, the Red Magic 5G Lite makes do with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage. There are built-in shoulder triggers to ensure that the display is free from encumbrances. The big 5,100mAh battery supports 18W fast-charging along with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

There's an 8MP front-facing camera and on the back of the phone are four cameras consisting of a 48MP main sensor, an 8MP super-wide-angle lens, a 2MP dedicated Depth of Field lens, and a 2MP macro lens. The phone runs Android 10 out of the box.

Vodafone Spain is the first carrier to offer the Red Magic 5G Lite at €17 each month for a period of 36 months that adds up to €612 in total, with the network throwing in a free wireless gaming pad worth €50 and a free case €20.
