Besides the fancy display, the RedMagic 5G is powered by the latest Snapdragon processor with tons of RAM, storage, a huge battery, and built-in shoulder trigger buttons.

As you might have already guessed, the RedMagic 5G does indeed feature 5G connectivity with both SA and NSA dual modes to support all key regions.

The 6.65-inch AMOLED ESports Display has a 2340 x 1080 resolution (FHD+) and its main claim to fame – a 144Hz refresh rate. Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 octa-core processor provides the grunt with RedMagic's Active Liquid-Cooling with Turbo Fan 3.0 to keep the CPU cool in extended gaming sessions. There is also a whopping 12GB of RAM and a very handy 256GB of UFS 3.0 built-in storage. A 4,500mAh battery will keep the gaming session going with fast charging present to make sure you never run out of juice.

Staying on the gaming theme, the built-in shoulder triggers have a 300Hz refresh rate and a 2ms touch delay so that the gaming phone can replicate the console gaming experience.

Once you've finished gaming, you can take some pics with the phone's trio of rear cameras consisting of a 64MP sensor, 8MP wide-angle lens, and the 2MP dedicated macro lens. There's also a 12MP selfie camera with Sensor+ SuperNight mode present.

Launching in China next month, the RedMagic 5G 8GB/128GB model in Red or Black will cost 3799 Yuan ($540) while the top-of-the-line 12GB/256GB variant, available in a bunch of gradient colors, is priced at 4099 CNY ($583), which seems to be pretty reasonable.

Global availability and pricing are yet to be confirmed by RedMagic, but we'll update the article once details are announced. In the meantime, what do you think about the RedMagic 5G gaming smartphone?
