The Motorola RAZR had a fairly bumpy launch. People couldn't buy it, there were tons of quality control issues, and at the end of the day it just didn't seem like a great phone.
Well, even mediocre phones can still get successors, and it looks like the Motorola RAZR 2 is right around the corner.
Motorola RAZR 2 specs
The cornerstone of the Motorola RAZR 2 won't change. You'll still get the same folding display, but Lenovo and Motorola are committed to making this one a little bit better.
The rumors say there will be a faster Snapdragon 765 on board this time around, and the screen will get bumped up to 6.7 inches for more real estate. The outside display should be bigger, too, and the whole package should be about the same size as the Galaxy Z Flip.
Other specs out of this rumor suggest a 48MP main sensor for the camera, plus 8GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, and a middling 2845mAh battery. It's an okay upgrade, I suppose, but nothing major.
Perhaps most surprisingly is that the RAZR 2 should debut in Q3 of this year, just a few months after the original actually hit store shelves thanks to its delayed start.
