With more and more flagship smartphones and tablets supporting HDR 10 and higher, the list of smart devices that can stream Netflix in HDR isn't as vast as you might think. Your device may have a display with QHD or even 4K resolution, but if Netflix hasn't certified it as compatible with HDR streaming, you won't get to view its content with the brighter colors and darker darks that HDR offers.

I think it would be helpful for you to know that I have two tablets you haven’t listed here that show HDR and 4K quite nicely. The first is a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1(2014) which my wife uses, and then there’s my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. Both of these are amazing tablets, and though they are 4 years old still manage to keep up with just about everything on the market. I originally bought the 10.1 tablet and loved it. However, after I saw Note Pro 12.2 I realised that this was a much more powerful tablet and I had to have it. I bought both of these new and have never regretted it. Also, we stream Netflix almost daily. Yesterday,I watched “An interview with God”, on my tablet and just loved it. Oh, and by the way, midway through the film, I rewound the film, and cast it to our large screen TV, so that my wife could also watch it. Try doing that with most tablets, phones, etc..
That is interesting. Netflix’s list does seem to have a few unexplained omissions, tbh.
