Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T goes on sale in the US and Europe from Nov. 15 5

The OnePlus 6T was announced on October 29th in Midnight Black or Mirror Black options, with fans wondering when a more exciting color, or at least one that wasn't black, would be announced. It turns out that we didn't have long to wait because OnePlus has just announced that the OnePlus 6T will be available to purchase in Thunder Purple from November 15 in the US and Europe.

Unlike the solid Midnight Black and Mirror Black colors, Thunder Purple has a gradient color scheme with an almost lilac color at the bottom of the rear panel that blends into a darker hue at the top. OnePlus had this to say about the new Thunder Purple color scheme:

“The gradient fades from black to purple under the frosted glass-backed OnePlus 6T, with the evocative ‘S' curve racing across the back and highlighting the depth of color. OnePlus paid meticulous attention to detail to craft the perfect look, with a balance of how light reacts to the glass' haze, roughness, gloss, transparency and reflective qualities.”

The Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T is only available in the 8GB/128GB configuration and is the same price as the other two colors – $579/£529/€579. OnePlus is promoting the Thunder Purple variant as a limited edition, so there is no time to wait if this is the color you need in your life.
