New years mean new plans for some carriers, and Ultra Mobile is making this the year of the value carrier. They've taken the wraps off a few new plans and bumped up the features on some existing plans, which is a long way of saying you'll want to take a good look at Ultra Mobile in 2018.
The new plan structure includes a set of packages that are pretty reminiscent of the Ultra Mobile-owned Mint SIM plans. They offer discounts when you buy in bulk, and all of the plans now include unlimited calling to more than 75 countries and unlimited global text. They're also offering an incredibly cheap $19 per month plan that includes 500MB of 4G LTE data, which is aggressively cheap.
