Samsung Galaxy Now Available In Germany On O2

The Samsung i7500 Galaxy Android phone is now available across Germany priced at €69.99 (~$98) on contract with O2.

The launch of the Samsung Galaxy comes just hours since HTC officially unveiled their new Android handset, the HTC Hero.

The Samsung Galaxy is by far the highest specification Android phone to launch so far, featuring a 3.2-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, 5 mega-pixel camera, 8GB of internal storage, and support for 7.2Mbps HSDPA.

    By far the highest spec?

    Have you seen the RAM?
    Same processor as the Magic and Hero but less RAM.

    Gees, just when I get excited that someone else is releasing an android phone I see that it only has a freaking 3.2″ screen. What’s up with these people, don’t they know that with the default fonts android uses a 3.5″ screen is the minimum that should be used, unless you don’t mind getting an eye ache from squinting. Google gave people the tools to put every other smartphone to shame but all I see are phones being built with nothing but profit in mind.
