We've covered several wireless chargers before, and these days you can generally get some pretty nice options without spending too much. But if you want to go all out with it, you can get acquainted with the NYTSTND Quad and its family of wireless charging accessories.
Instead of a single charging slot, these hubs integrate multiple wireless charging coils, USB-C connectors, and even MagSafe for Apple products, all in a handcrafted design that looks incredibly slick on a nightstand.
We're taking the NYTSTND Quad for a spin to see how this holds up as your next wireless charging solution.
Handcrafted Design
The biggest selling point of any NYSTND product is typically the handcrafted design. The stand is made of premium Amish-sourced wood and genuine leather, which is almost guaranteed to be nicer than anything else you've got on your desk or end table. It's clean and sleek enough to blend in just about anywhere, but still looks good if it's the center of attention.

Underneath that leather houses enough charging coils to charge up two devices without having to be too picky about how you're placing your phone. There are grooves in the leather to help you line things up, however.
Towards the back sits the USB-C connector (or Lightning connector, if you went that route) with a slot for a leather back brace to hold up your device. This feels a little more 2012 than wireless charging, but the wide space and back brace are designed to accommodate tablets as well as phones, and most tablets still don't support wireless charging.
Towards the front left is an integrated Apple Watch magnetic connector. This one isn't present on all of NYTSTND's models, and you should probably forego this if you're not an Apple user. But if you do have an Apple Watch and some Apple devices, you can extremely easily get everything charged up in one place with all of these ports and connections.

Alongside the back of the wooden base you'll find a single wooden USB-C connector, and being able to use an existing high-speed USB-C charger instead of NYTSTND's supplied cable is big. The adapter NYTSTND includes is nice, but this saves you from having to swap out your existing chargers and is one easier thing to replace instead of a proprietary block.
The bottom of the hub is pretty basic, but you can access the Apple Watch charger cable. It's not easy to replace and pull out that charger, however, but there is an extra USB-C port down there that you could potentially reuse.
Broad charging solution
So how well does this actually work as a charger? Pretty fantastically, honestly, as long as you've got devices that fit properly.
That USB-C port in the back is going to handle just about any Android phone you throw at it, regardless of manufacturer. I'm not sure there are very many, if any, Android phones over $100 that ship without bottom centered USB ports these days. It's wide enough to cover Android tablets, too, even if they're a little off-center. Maybe if you're still holding on to an old Galaxy View you'd have issues, but I think even the new Galaxy Tab S8 would be fine so long as your desk or nightstand could handle that large of a device.

The wireless charging towards the front can be a little more tricky, but will still handle just about anything. It's clearly made for things like headphones and smaller phones, and charging a regular Galaxy S22 on here is fine. Charging a Galaxy S22 Ultra, however, it a little tougher (but still fine!) due to that extra space.
In a pinch this is fine, and the grooved leather alignment does a good job of lining up your phones in the dark or late at night.
The Apple Watch charger works well, with an Apple Watch. It's not going to help your Galaxy Watch, so keep that in mind unless you're extremely comfortable disassembling this thing and trying to fit a Galaxy Watch charger in its place. We 100% do not recommend this.
Worth it?
For someone with an Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and AirPods, I think this might be the best solution you're going to find on the market. It looks fantastic and covers literally all of your gadgets in the cleanest way possible.

Android users can still take advantage of this if they're really into the handcrafted, sleek design that NYTSTND offers. Mix-and-match users will equally benefit from NYTSTND trying to work with both ecosystems.
But at its price (roughly $229) you might be better suited to grabbing the NYTSTND Duo if you're only rocking Android phones, which offers two wireless charging spots in the same design at a cheaper price. You still get the nice stand, and you're not spending extra money on charging devices you don't own. You'll lose the tablet charging dock, which is nice, but it's up to you if that's worth the $100 premium.
