We all know the Anker brand, and that it has sub-brands for audio, smart home, security and more. We've even seen the Zolo brand being used, somewhat confusingly. That all ends now. At IFA Berlin, the company announced it's collapsing all of them back into a single name: Anker.
What's new

eufy (smart home), soundcore (audio), SOLIX (energy), and eufyMake (creative tools) will all transition to the Anker name over time, with new products leading the change and existing products following gradually. Warranty coverage, customer support, and service remain unchanged through the transition. Anker is also opening its first standalone retail store in Berlin on September 5, organized not by product category but around two groupings: “Anker For You” (charging, audio, personal health, creative tools) and “Anker for Home” (security, robotics, energy).
The rebrand comes alongside a genuinely large product wave. On the home side, Anker introduced MindBase, a local AI hub, plus a new Robot Vacuum Omni E35 and the company's first fully in-house robot lawn mower, the S2 Max, capable of mapping and mowing up to 15,000 square meters with no boundary wire required. In home energy, the Anker SOLIX Solarbank Max claims to be the first plug-in energy storage system matching whole-home battery specs, 7kWh capacity expandable to 42kWh, installable by a certified electrician converting a single socket in a day. On the charging side, a new MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro, Laptop Charger Pro, and MagStand Charging Station round out the lineup. Anker also confirmed it's entering hearing health, with hearing aids built on its in-house THUS AI chip expected in the coming months.
Why it matters

CEO Steven Yang's framing, “category brands made sense when categories were separate, they no longer are”, is the real thesis here: as AI and local computing tie previously separate home devices together, running five brand identities in every market starts working against the company rather than for it. Consolidating also means Anker's marketing spend goes behind one name instead of being split five ways.

Takeaway
The rebrand is the headline, but the product wave underneath it, particularly the Solarbank Max and the boundary-wire-free lawn mower, is a bigger signal of where Anker is actually pushing than the name change itself.
