Android tablets aren't renowned for receiving tons of software updates but if you've got a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 or Tab S6 Lite you can look forward to getting a taste of Android 12 and One UI 4.1 on your large-screened device in the coming days.
According to SamMobile, the Android 12/One UI 4.1 update is rolling out to the LTE variant of the Galaxy Tab S6 in Europe with firmware number T865XXU5DVC3 and sporting the February security patch. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite's Android 12/One UI 4.1 update carries build number P615XXU4EVC5 and includes the March security patch.
The Galaxy Tab S6 update is currently rolling out to devices in Germany and in France for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, with other regions set to gain access to the new firmware in the weeks to come.
Considering that the Galaxy Tab S6 launched back in 2019 which was before Samsung upped its game in the software update department, it's astonishing that the tablet is getting the Android 12 update almost four years later. One can only say that it's great work on Samsung's part, and surely something that will help it in the loyalty stakes.
