One thing to remember is that if your car doesn't already have Android Auto then there's no point in buying the dongle because it won't add the feature to your vehicle. On a side note, the MA1 Wireless Android Auto Dongle isn't actually manufactured by Motorola who have just licensed their branding to Meizhou Guo Wei Electronics Co. as it did for the third-generation Moto 360 smartwatch.

Features:

  • Wireless Car Adapter: Android Auto is a simpler, safer way to use your phone in the car and our wireless adapter connects to Android Auto on your car display.
  • Easy to Use: Use the direct plug-in USB adapter with an existing Android Auto-enabled car or truck. To wirelessly use on your car display, pair with a compatible active Android smartphone.
  • Fast Transmission: With 5 GHz WiFi for Android Auto Wireless, you can easily display all your favorite maps, media, and messaging apps to your car display. Ideal navigation for cars on road trips, you can use your smartphone to transmit a car GPS.
  • Sleek Design: The lightweight sleek design of this car adapter makes it compact and easy to carry around without taking up too much space in your car. Includes is a gel pad for added security for keeping the USB wireless adapter in place.

The MA1 Wireless Android Auto Dongle slots into your car's USB port and provides Bluetooth access to your smartphone so you don't have any cables getting in the way. The ‘Motorola' MA1 Wireless Android Auto Dongle is up for pre-order at Amazon for $89.95 with orders scheduled to start shipping on January 28th.

  1. I will place an order for this, it sounds great. I got a similar one from carlinkitcarplay before. It is installed in my Volvo 2021 XC60 and linked right up from the get-go and every time since. It’s like getting a 1000 dollar upgrade for a 100.

  2. I was able to order one but just got an update via email from Amazon, that the original delivery date of end of January is (oops!) now March 14-March 22.

  3. MA1 now in stock at Amazon. Just now ordered me one.
I tried to wait for AAwireless but takes too long to ship (Feb or Mar). Same with Carsifi.

  4. With autostart, Android Auto has become a pleasure to use. Plus your phone gets charged up using a USB cord with top sound quality. No need for wireless AA.

  5. There is a major bug with this product. You can’t pair more than one phone at a time like with other similar products.

    1. AA wireless’s sucks. Have so many problems with it since day 1. Got new google pixel pro 6 and it will not connect at all. Tried everything. Can’t wait till this one ships.

      1. I connected just fine with pixel 6 Pro. Reset / unplug the unit and plug it back in. Under your Bluetooth settings on your phone, look for AAWireless – xxxxxxxxxx. Works for me every time it doesn’t boot up by itself. Make sure to go under the companion app and get the latest OTA update.

I don’t work for AAWireless but just giving you what I have found out.

        1. Thank you. I will try it out. I have done several resets and uninstalled aa app and reinstalled, updated to newest version.

          1. No worries, I hope it help you out!

I have found it doesn’t have anything to do with the app itself but instead when the car turns on the AAWireless connects to the phone before the car tries to connect and then the cars Bluetooth handshakes with the phone to override the AAWireless Bluetooth signal.

            1. This sounds way more complicated than it really is. Just don’t pair your phone with the car’s head unit. Delete the car from the phone’s list of paired bluetooth devices. Problem solved.

            2. so any other suggestions. I tried several times what you told me and still cannot get it to connect. I am so over this thing. I had so much trouble with my galaxy phone too prior to this after about two months one day it finally connected. I ordered the carfii one said it would ship Feb.

  6. We shall see, I had signed up with Moto to get updates on when available. I pre ordered as soon as I got the email. Just got notified that it ship March 2nd or 3rd…..
