We've seen the OnePlus 10 Pro launched in China recently and while there has been no word on the vanilla OnePlus 10 other than it perhaps being powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9000 chipset, it's being reported that the Pro may not be the flagship of the 10 series.
According to a tweet by Yogesh Brar, we may see a OnePlus 10 “Ultra” unveiled during 2022 with the inclusion of OPPO's recently announced MariSilicon X NPU/ISP. The OnePlus 10 Ultra is said to be in the early development stages so don't expect it to be unveiled during the global launch event of the OnePlus 10 Pro. Instead, it's reported that the Ultra flagship will launch in the second half of 2022.
While this is just a rumor and so must be treated with a fair amount of trepidation, OnePlus has changed the way it does phone launches and it's entirely plausible that it may launch an Ultra model later in the year. If so, it will no doubt have a lot in common with OPPO's Find X5 Pro Plus handset that is rumored to be in a similar development stage.
