As rumors point to a successor finally being developed for the original Google Home, Belkin's SoundForm Elite that combines the Google Assistant, Bluetooth speaker, and wireless charger functions into a single device is now on sale in the UK. First announced during CES 2020, the SoundForm Elite is now on sale for $229/£279.
With a design that both mimics and improves upon the Google Home fabric aesthetic, the SoundForm Elite was developed by Belkin in partnership with the audio brand, Devialet. Offering high-fidelity sound with up to 90dB SPL of maximum volume, fast wireless charging, the SoundForm Elite can be connected to your speaker group to create a complete home audio experience.
Devialet's signature “Push-Push” vibration-canceling dual woofers enable the phone to sit on the wireless charging element without vibration, and its patented Speaker Active Matching (SAM) technology recreates sound as the artist intended. The built-in Google Assistant lets you set up your morning routines, play music, and turn the lights on and off, among other things.
