Google Pixel 3 XL

This is no surprise, but Google has officially nixed the Pixel 3. The device held on for a little bit after the Pixel 4 announcement, at least on Google's online store, but now it's been pulled and thrown in the same graveyard as other old Pixel devices.

RIP Google Pixel 3

This means if you didn't already buy a Pixel 3 and wanted one, you might have a tough time finding any left out in the wild. Some stores, like Best Buy, may still be hanging on to them for a bit, but that'll vary from location to location. You'll always be able to buy used, too, if that's your thing.

This is almost exactly a year after Google pulled the Pixel 2 from its digital shelves, so don't expect this to be some kind of technical error. Your choices going forward will either be the Pixel 4, or the reliable Pixel 3a. But with the Pixel 4a on the horizon, that Pixel 3a might be on the way out, too.

Best Buy appears to have some Pixel 3s still in stock, though, but that might be your only option. Don't hesitate if you want it.

  1. And yet, for a replacement 3xl they still put a $1000 credit card hold because the trade-in value of this to them is only $250. Oh, google, always stay classy and crappy.
