OnePlus 8 Pro

The OnePlus 8 Pro looks like it's going to shake things up for OnePlus, adopting a new design and a really slick new color. Seriously, can I get every phone in this teal color from now on?

The leak is reportedly an official press render that OnePlus will be using, and if that holds up, this should be the most accurate leak that we see.

OnePlus 8 Pro leaks

We've got a few things to talk about here. It looks like OnePlus will be ditching the pop-up camera on the OnePlus 8 Pro and will instead opt for a hole-punch display like what everyone else is using. RIP, retracting front-facing camera. We barely knew you.

The hole punch is off to the left side and appears to house a single camera, keeping the OP8 Pro in line with the rest of the industry.

On the back of the phone you'll notice a new camera module with three cameras in a vertical orientation and one more sensor off to the side. The vertical module reportedly houses a 48MP main camera, 48MP ultrawide camera, and supposedly an 8MP and 5MP sensor for telephoto zoom and depth info. These details are still a little fuzzy.

Other info from this leak confirms a 120Hz AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution, one-upping Samsung at their own game. OnePlus will also finally adopt 30W fast wireless charging in the OnePlus 8 Pro, as well as reverse wireless charging, IP68 dust and water resistance, and 5G connectivity with the Snapdragon 865 platform.

The regular OnePlus 8, on the other hand, gets a smaller 6.55-inch display that clocks at 90hz, triple cameras, and no wireless charging or IP certification. The Pro seems to be the way to go this time around, even if it costs a little bit more. Let's just hope OnePlus doesn't get weird with the markets they release these phones in.

We're expecting an official announcement about both devices on April 15th, which isn't too far away. Many of these details have been leaked before, or even outright confirmed by OnePlus directly, but now everything is really coming into focus.
