Stable EMUI 10 is now rolling out to Huawei's P30 and Mate 30 series via OTA 3

After showing a roadmap of when it would begin rolling out beta versions of its Android 10-based EMUI 10 to a range of handsets, Huawei has begun rolling out stable builds of the new software to its P30 and Mate 20 series of smartphones. Those with global versions of the P30 and Mate 20 series should soon get a notification telling them that the EMUI 10 updates are available if indeed they haven't already received it.

Huawei's EMUI 10 update includes new features such as system-wide dark mode, an upgraded camera experience, new app icons, as well as lighter, more user-friendly interactions when navigating the menus.

First up on the update schedule are the P30, P30 Pro, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Mate 20 X (4G), and the Nova 5T handsets, with older models having to wait a little longer. As always, the rollout is staggered, so the OTA will arrive on your phone sooner or later depending on which region you live in. You may want to see if you can prompt the EMUI 10 update by heading to Settings, System & Updates, tapping on Software Update to see if the OTA is available to download and install. If it isn't, don't panic because it's just a matter of time until it arrives.

What are you most looking forward to seeing in the EMUI 10 update on your P30 or Mate 20 handset?
