Apple has finally rolled out a web interface for their Apple Music service, adding a feature that most other music streaming services have had for years now. Google Play Music, Spotify, YouTube, etc. all already offer this, but hey, that's just the Apple way.
Better late than never
Snark aside, it's a nice feature to have, and will give Apple Music subscribers a way to listen to their library wherever they are. It's also got a dark mode (which Google Play Music does not have) and features most of Apple's newer design elements. It's way better than iTunes on Windows, too.
You can't sign up for the service through this site, and Apple says it's just in beta right now. But if you're already subscribed and need to jam out without installing iTunes, you're in luck.
It also looks like this site might be hinting at a dedicated Apple Music player for Windows. There's a button to install Apple Music, which currently just launches iTunes. But considering Apple is breaking up iTunes on MacOS and building a standalone music app, we might see that happen on Windows soon, too. I wouldn't hate that, either, considering iTunes on Windows might be the worst piece of software to exist in 2019.
Anyways, happy streaming.
