The European Product Registry for Energy Labelling (EPREL) just confirmed the Google Pixel 11 ahead of tonight's official Made by Google announcement. If durability was your reason for holding out for the Pixel 11 Pro, you may want to just get the standard Pixel 11 or the Pixel 11 Pro XL instead.

Google's Pro phone is allegedly weaker than the base model
Google has marketed the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL as the most durable models in the lineup, with a spacecraft-grade aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 cover glass.
The display also carries a coating that makes it twice as scratch-resistant compared with previous models. However, in EPREL testing, the Pixel 11 Pro scored a B grade for durability and managed 180 falls, while the standard Pixel 11 and Pro XL both survived 270 falls and earned an A.
The test itself grades on a scale from A to E, with A being the strongest. The free-fall reliability score is an important component, and it's calculated by how many regulated drops a device survives without any defect.
Without an official explanation from Google, it's hard to say what's causing the gap. Even the size difference between the two is arguably too small to be the culprit.
The Pixel 11 Pro has a 6.3-inch display, while Pro XL has 6.8 inches. That's a half-inch difference separating two phones weighing almost the same(226.8 grams and 226.7 grams). Regardless, the Pixel 11 Pro has a disappointing durability rating over its predecessor.
It's worth noting that Google didn't lower the price to offset the weaker durability score —this year. So, the Pixel 11 Pro costs the same $1,099 as the Pixel 10 Pro at 256GB.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro achieved an A grade in free-fall reliability in 2025, surviving 270 falls without defects. The Google Pixel 10, Google Pixel 10 Pro, and Google Pixel 10 Pro XL also received A-class ratings.
Pixel 11 Pro XL has the best battery
Beyond the durability grades, the EPREL listings revealed battery and energy efficiency details. The standard Pixel 11 carries a 4,840 mAh battery rated up to 48 hours and 50 minutes on a single charge.
The Pixel 11 Pro has a 4,707 mAh battery lasting up to 47 hours and 36 minutes, which is lower than the vanilla model despite costing more. The Pixel 11 Pro XL has a 5,000 mAh battery rated for 50 hours and 10 minutes, making it the longest-lasting of the slab phones.
The Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold has the smallest battery at 4,658 mAh, rated for 45 hours and 5 minutes. All four models are rated to retain at least 80% capacity through 1,000 charge cycles like the previous series. On energy efficiency, all four Pixel 11 models scored a B on the EU's A-to-G scale. On repairability again, the scale runs from A to E, and the phones scored a B.
