It's that time of year again where many of us travel home to spend the festive period with friends and family, although some of us will get home later than others thanks to those pesky flight delays. Forewarned is forearmed, as they say, and the Google Assistant will soon be able to tell you if your flight will be delayed, what to do when you get to your destination and the best times to book your next vacation,
Is your flight on time?
That's right, you'll soon be able to ask the Google Assistant “Hey Google, is my flight on time?” or “Hey Google, what’s the status of the American Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Denver?” with an 85% confidence rate. Google Assistant will also begin proactively notifying you on your smartphone if it predicts a flight delay and the reason why.
What to do when you get there
Google Maps will help you explore your destination, which is especially handy if you have never been there before. You can find information and recommendations on where to visit by swiping up on the Explore tab at the bottom of the screen.
Plan your next holiday
When planning your next getaway, this tool from Google will help you schedule the trip around an upcoming holiday or school break so you can avoid the crowds and inevitable price increases. You can search Google for experiences or things to do in Nashville with results such as wine-tastings, sporting events, and hikes being returned.
