The Essential Phone is now available in Halo Gray with Alexa built-in direct – exclusively from Amazon

It isn’t long since it was announced that the Essential Phone was finally available in the awesome Ocean Depths color, with Copper Black and Stellar Gray following suit a few days after each other. Now, Essential has unveiled another new variation which is called Halo Gray that offers something different – it comes with Alexa built-in and is available exclusively on Amazon.

The Halo Gray Essential Phone is currently available to pre-order exclusively from Amazon for $449, so it’s $150 cheaper than the Ocean Depths/Stellar Gray/ Copper Black options. Plus it’s the first Essential Phone to come with Amazon’s Alexa built-in. Hmm. Frankly, I know which option I would prefer to buy if I was going to buy an Essential Phone for myself.

I mean, it’s the same phone with the same Snapdragon 835 processor, the same edge-to-edge 5.7-inch Quad HD display, the same dual rear camera setup, you get the picture. It’s also a different color than what went before but costs $449 instead of the $599 that Essential is charging for the special colors. Just as importantly, you’ll still be able to install the Android 8.1 Oreo beta that became available yesterday.

If you fancy grabbing an Essential Phone in Halo Gray with Amazon’s Alexa built-in, just click the Amazon link below to add the phone to your cart. Amazon will begin shipping the phone from February 21.
