Google bringing YouTube TV to 10 new markets 2

YouTube TV was Google's answer to cable-less television services like Sling, DirecTV Now, and Playstation Vue. It's been a very slow rollout, however, which shouldn't surprise anyone that keeps up with how Google likes to trickle out new updates and services, but overall the reception has been pretty positive compared to the competition.

Well, the rollout is still going to be slow, but Google is adding ten new cities to the five cities that can currently get YouTube TV, bringing the total to a paltry fifteen. If you're in a selected city, you're in good shape, but the rest of us have to wait or jump on the other services that aren't limited to city location.

The new cities that have been added are Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas-Fort Worth, Detroit, Houston, Miami-Fort Lauderdale, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne, Phoenix, and Washington, DC., which join Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia & the San Francisco Bay Area.

It's not perfect, but hopefully this signals the service picking up steam for the rest of the country.

Are you in a city where you can trial YouTube TV?
