Pushbullet keeps getting better with every update, and today they are adding Channels. It's basically another way of getting alerts for the things you care about. They can be created by anyone, and others can easily subscribe to them.

Some channels have already been created such as Steam Deals and BBC Top Gear First Drives. Once the Channel creator shares a link or a message to the Channel, all the subscribed users will get the notification on their mobile devices and/or Chrome browser. Channels can also utilize an RSS feed for automatic triggers.

This is great for the workplace, clubs, or even blogs. But they do stress that the channels should be low frequency. For example, a channel might include new movies in movie theaters with a Rotten Tomatoes score higher than 90%, rather than just every new movie. Kind of sounds like another version of IFTTT doesn't it?

Pushbullet also has a dedicated page to help you find other Channels to subscribe to.

Give it a try and let us know what you think.
