Just yesterday we told you about the design flaw in Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 where the gap between the screen and the bezel was wide enough to fit a business card into. That's more than a slight imperfection, and Samsung has come forward with a statement about the issue today.
A Samsung PR rep said “the reported issue does not impact the functionality or quality of the Galaxy Note 4. We assure our customers that all Galaxy Note 4 units meet our strict manufacturing and quality control standards.” That doesn't really add up to much, except that if your device has this issue it shouldn't affect actually using the device. It's not clear if Samsung will end up replacing affected units or if it will be fixed by the time the phone launches globally in October, but you might want to wait until a few review units get out before you make a decision on buying one.

For what its worth…i can’t fit a damn thing in between my note3 screen and bezel…its super tight fitting. I am passing on the note4 simply due to being sick of touchwiz. Going moto X for the near stock android, and nothing more. The QHD screen on the note4 is mighty tempting though.
Okay so let me get this straight. This is the best you could come up with? A gap big enough to put a business card in?I have the Note 3 and tried the same thing in the same position at the top of the phone just like you did. Guess what? I can put a business card in that gap too. My Note 3 is a very good quality phone that has not let me down yet. All this does is make me want the phone more because if the only flaw you can find is a minute gap then that must be one damn good phone. Quality journalism…not!
I too get sick and tired of this half-baked journalism. You can’t find anything bad about a product so you just make something up. I too have the Note 3. I too can fit a bizness card. I too am anxiously awaiting the Note 4. I’m sending it back if it doesn’t have the bizness card holder.
+1 im sending it back too if it dosn’t come with the built in card holder! every business pro needs this lol..i love my note 3 and ill also love my note 4. at least the phone dosn’t bend in half that icrap, beyond me how a company who prides itself on quality could of let that one slip threw the cracks
