There are three new versions of the Galaxy Alpha series floating around, but the A5 seems to be the least shy of the bunch. That usually means that it's close to release, but another clue is the needed FCC approval.
The Galaxy A5 has officially cleared the FCC, but interestingly enough, it's only sporting the LTE-FDD Band 5. Could this be a US Cellular only phone? There could be other variants as well, but we at least know that US Cellular customers will have a chance to buy the device.
The phone is expected to sport a 5-inch Super AMOLED 720p (1280 x 720) display, a Snapdragon 400, 16 GB of internal storage, 13 MP rear camera, 5 MP front-facing camera, and a 2,330 mAh battery. Let's also not forget the full metal frame.
It doesn't offer the highest-end specs, but does it mean more to you that it sport metal?
