Many have argued that the market isn't yet ready for a massive influx of smartwatches, but Samsung would disagree — and perhaps that's all that matters.
We've already seen the Galaxy Gear, Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo, Gear Fit and Gear Live come from the manufacturer, and it appears that we should be expecting the arrival of the Gear 3 relatively soon.
The device is expected to have a slightly rectangular, curved display. Not as rectangular as seen on the Gear Fit, but also taller than the Gear 2. An AMOLED panel is also expected once again. The device, much to Android fans' dismay, will run Tizen, as the company appears to be forking its smartwatch line to have both a Tizen line as well as an Android Wear line.
A camera is rumored to not be included in the Gear 3, but it is possible that there will be a cellular radio. A September release date is expected as of now, which puts the device in a window to be released at IFA in just a few weeks.
