Galaxy Nexus Volume Rocker Issue Is Software-Related, Patch On The Way

So you own a new Galaxy Nexus, but have faulty volume rocker issues? Google certainly has the cure if that’s what ails you. Don’t believe us you say? Here’s Google’s formal address and response of the well-known issue:

“We are aware of the volume issue and have developed a fix. We will update devices as soon as possible.”

So there you have it. What once was thought to be a serious hardware malfunction/error is actually a simple software bug. Here’s hoping that patch is released within the next few days so owners won’t be muted much longer.

i love it that samsung/google have a patch so fast, unlike the data connection issue on the bionic and razr and motorola/verizon still dont have the patch out.

Its not a Verizon problem…. if you notice, the Bionic and the Razr have the data connection problem, but other manufacturer’s phones do not have the same problem. That means that Moto’s programmers screwed something up putting blur on the phone. When will these phone manufacturer’s realize that a lot of people want Vanilla Android, not their blur/sense/touchwiz crap on top of Android.

Make it an app like any other launcher, but do NOT FORCE US TO HAVE TO USE IT…..
