Huawei Honor 6C Pro may be on way to European markets 3

Much of the attention on Huawei focuses on their high end products and their efforts to gain entry into the U.S. market. However, the company has not risen to be one of the top global manufacturers of smartphones by relying on flagship devices only. Like other tech giants, Huawei has a full portfolio in order to offer buying choices across the spectrum of consumers. That is where the Honor C6 fits in, as a mid-tier device. Sources have spotted an entry in the Eurasian Economic Union's Russian portal for a new variant called the Honor 6C Pro suggesting Huawei sees some potential for sales of a beefed up version of the Honor 6C.

Unfortunately, the entry for the Honor 6C Pro does not provide any details other than confirming the new name. In the past Huawei has released a Pro version of their 6 series, but they have not done so for any devices in their “C” series. For reference, the Honor 6C is equipped with a 5-inch screen, a Snapdragon 435 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 13MP camera, a fingerprint scanner, and a 3,020 mAh battery. The speculation is that Huawei may bump the display up to 5.2-inches and will at least update the operating system to Android Nougat instead of Android Marshmallow.

Huawei has some product launches coming up in October, so we will keep an eye out for this device.
