Spectrum Mobile is adding a plan above its existing lineup, and the pitch is less about the base price and more about what used to cost extra getting folded in.

Unlimited Plus Premium raises the hotspot throttle point to 50GB, five times higher than the 10GB ceiling on standard Unlimited Plus, and unlocks 4K UHD video streaming over cellular instead of capping resolution when you're off WiFi. International coverage moves up too: free roaming for calls and texts carries over from Unlimited Plus, but the data throttle point doubles from 10GB to 20GB a month, across more than 215 countries and destinations including Canada and Mexico.

The hotspot bump is the number that actually changes behavior, but it's worth being precise about what it means. Every Spectrum Mobile tier throttles hotspot speeds once you hit the cap rather than cutting the connection off outright. Unlimited Plus Premium doesn't remove the limit, it just moves it five times further out than the base Unlimited Plus plan, from 10GB to 50GB before speeds drop. For anyone tethering a laptop for work or travel, that's the difference between a backup connection that dies by afternoon and one that lasts the trip.
International data works the same way. Unlimited Plus already includes roaming with a 10GB throttle point. Premium doubles that ceiling to 20GB rather than adding roaming as a new feature outright, since roaming itself isn't new here, only the volume before things slow down.
The two “savings” features need a caveat Spectrum doesn't lead with. The up to $10 monthly phone credit only applies if you're financing a device through Spectrum Mobile, and it caps at $360 total, meaning it stops the moment the phone's paid off. The included smartwatch data plan covers one paired watch, not every device on the line. Both are real value if you already fit the criteria, neither is a discount you get just for signing up.
Looking at the full three-tier lineup, 4K streaming is actually the only capability exclusive to Premium. Everything else on the plan, from hotspot to international data to Anytime Upgrade, already exists on a lower tier at a lower throttle point. Premium's real pitch is less “new features” and more “the same features, with the ceiling moved further away.”

Pricing runs $50 per month per line for multi-line accounts, or $60 for a single line, with no contracts or added fees. The plan keeps everything from Spectrum Mobile's existing tiers: unlimited high-speed data, unlimited talk and text, WiFi calling, coast-to-coast 5G, Speed Boost across roughly 45 million Spectrum WiFi access points, and Anytime Upgrade with no traditional wait period.

If you already travel internationally or tether a laptop regularly, the higher throttle points alone justify the jump. The financing credit and watch plan are nice extras for people who already qualify, not a flat discount for anyone who signs up, so don't buy in expecting $20 knocked off your bill by default.
