Google Hire is a new recruiting app for G Suite

Google’s G Suite exists to help make everyday tasks easier for businesses, and the latest addition to the software aims to help with the recruiting process. The new app, called Hire, aims to streamline the entire process, including helping with communication and interviewing.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a real Google product if Hire didn’t rely on existing Google services on its backend. The service allows you to communicate with candidates in Gmail, schedule interviews in Calendar, and keep up with data in Sheets. It’s incredibly robust and automated and utilizes Google’s tight service integration.

  • Communicate with candidates in Gmail or Hire and your emails will sync automatically in both.
  • Schedule interviews in Hire with visibility into an interviewer’s schedule from Calendar. Hire also automatically includes important details in Calendar invites, like contact information, the full interview schedule and what questions each interviewer should focus on.
  • Track candidate pipeline in Hire, and then analyze and visualize the data in Sheets.

From start to finish, Hire wants to make things easier by managing information so you can focus on other things. It’s also one of the bets ways to collaborate with potential hires, allowing both parties to input and see all of the information in the process.

Hire is available to buy starting today for any G Suite customers.
