Google Home is set to hit store shelves on November 4, but it seems to be on Walmart's shelves an entire week early, according to a photo captured by an Android Police reader.

Since the device is set to debut on November 4, retailers all over already have the device in stock, but not necessarily on the shelves. With that in mind, this seems to be a small “accident,” putting them out on the shelves. The reader who sent the photo in to Android Police (pictured below) says that his local Walmart representatives refused to sell him the device, presumably because of the date mix-up.

This “accident” likely isn't limited to a single store, so it might be worth checking and seeing if your local Walmart center has the device on shelves early, too. And hopefully, the Walmart representative you get at the checkout counter won't know anything about that November 4 release.

Google Home will go on sale for $129 in just a few days. On November 4, you can visit your local Walmart or Best Buy to pick the new smart home device up. Alternatively, you purchase by way of the Google Store right now, with Google estimating a November 3 ship date and a November 11 arrival at the latest with free standard shipping.
