Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge to launch in India next week


A new report suggests that Samsung’s latest flagship smartphone duo, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge, will launch in India next week.

The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are scheduled for a global rollout beginning March 11th. However, India may get the duo a bit sooner. The exact date hasn’t been specified. When launched, Samsung plans to spend lots of money to market the phones. The company wants the duo to take on high-end rivals like Apple’s iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus.

India has never been Samsung’s best region when it comes to smartphone sales, but they’re hoping the increased marketing will help spread influence in the territory. Some the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge’s new features like the always on display, expandable storage, and water resistance will most likely be put into the spotlight. Both Galaxy S7 models also have a new camera with larger pixels and a better aperture for taking great shots even when the lighting is dim. These are undoubtedly some of the best smartphones on the market, let’s see if they continue to shine.
