French bargain-hunting website Dealabs has dropped exclusive specifications and European pricing for the Xiaomi 17T phone series. The T-series has launched every single year between September and October without exception, going all the way back to the Mi 10T.

The new additions are reportedly launching around May 2026, roughly 4 months earlier than usual. Also, Xiaomi has skipped the 16th series to align its flagship naming and release cycle with Apple’s iPhone 17.

It's supposed to make comparisons easier and more immediate in marketing and media, positioning the Xiaomi 17 as a direct rival. Although there are no clear renders available, here's what to expect when they're out.

Meet the Xiaomi 17T

The standard Xiaomi 17T is more compact than its predecessor, with a 6.59-inch screen down from the 15T's 6.83-inch screen. It weighs 200g and measures 157.6 × 75.2 × 8.17mm. The display uses AMOLED technology with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

The processor is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra, built on a 4-nanometer TSMC process. It's paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB or 512GB UFS 4.1 storage.

Battery capacity has increased from the 15T's 5500mAh to 6,500mAh, with support for 67W wired charging. The phone's backside houses a triple Leica system. The main sensor is a 50MP Light Fusion lens, a 50MP lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The front camera is 32MP.

Meet the Xiaomi 17T Pro

The Xiaomi 17T Pro has a 6.83-inch screen with an increased 144Hz refresh rate. The processor is the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 9500 with peak core clocking at 4.21GHz.

The battery capacity is 7000mAh with support for 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The main 50MP camera uses a Light Fusion 950 sensor with a slightly wider f/1.74 aperture compared to the 17T's Light Fusion 800.

The telephoto camera is the same as the base 17T model with 5x optical zoom. Both share the same 12MP ultrawide and 32MP front cameras. They'll also launch with Android 16 overlayed with HyperOS.

Pricing and release date information

The Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro cost €749 (≈ $874) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration. The 512GB version's price is unconfirmed but is expected to land between €799 (≈ $933) and €849 (≈ $991). Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 17T Pro starts at €999 (≈ $1,166) for 12GB + 512GB. Both phones will appear in Blue, Black, and Purple. An exact release date has not yet been confirmed.

The old Xiaomi 15T is currently selling for $559 on Amazon. It's roughly down from $600. It comes with 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, a large 120Hz AMOLED display, Leica-tuned cameras, and a Dimensity 8400-Ultra chip.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 15T Pro is currently listed at $779, down from $829. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chip and comes with 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 2772 × 1280 resolution, 3200 nits peak brightness with HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, a Leica-branded triple camera system, and a 5500mAh battery.

Take advantage of these slightly lowered barriers to entry offers while they last.
