Note41As Samsung kicks off its promotions for the new Note 4, the question on the mind of potential buyers, as always, is how much will it cost. Whether it's the subsidized on contract price or the full retail price, the Note series has always seemed to cost a prettier penny than other smartphones. While we don't have any information on the former, we do have an idea of what the latter price will be.

For the most part, these preliminary prices are somewhat inflated for promotional sale gimmicks, but pricing for the Note 4 could be a wee bit different. According to erafone, the large smartphone is listed as IDR 9,499,000 which correlates to €600 or a little over $800 in the US. As we've seen in the past, that's pretty close to what previous note devices have gone for.

On the CPU front, there are two versions of the Note 4 which is consistent with Samsung releasing one with a Exynos processor in some markets, and a Snapdragon variant in other markets.

Note4SpecsBesides that the specs show that the device will be packing Android 4.4.3 out of the gate, which is interesting considering that the S5 is still on 4.4.2 for most. It also looks like the display will pack an amazing 515ppi and the device will be packing 4GB of RAM. While these could be placeholder values we're only a few weeks from knowing for sure. What about you folks out there? Are these specs drawing your attention?
